Hi, I’m Jeremy Trips — an engineer in IT and electronics, currently based in Brussels.
My passion for electronics began in childhood when my father brought home a broken lighting system. I eagerly dismantled it, hoping to understand its inner workings—though at the time, I didn’t really grasp much. That curiosity, however, never faded.
My journey into IT started around 2012-2013, when I began developing mods for Minecraft using the ModLoader by Risugami. That experience introduced me to programming, and from there, my interest in software development only grew.
I don’t have a single favorite part of engineering—I enjoy the blend of problem-solving, creativity, and logical thinking. For me, understanding engineering and physics is also a way to understand people—the way systems interact and evolve has many parallels with human interactions and society.
Although I’m currently focused on work, I’ve had many hobbies over the years, including:
I never felt entirely at home as an employee—mainly because of how much I love software development. Starting my own companies was a way to work on what I truly enjoy.
Currently, I’m the founding and lead software engineer at:
My primary tech stack includes:
I decided to start blogging to document what I learn and share insights on anything I find interesting—whether it’s software development, engineering, or even random thoughts on society and technology.
