Hi, I’m Jeremy Trips, an engineer in IT and electronics currently based in Brussels.
My interest in electronics began when I was a child. One day, my father brought home a broken lighting system, and I immediately dismantled it to understand how it worked.
To be honest, I probably understood almost nothing at the time, but the curiosity stayed.
My journey into IT started around 2012 or 2013, when I began developing Minecraft mods using ModLoader by Risugami. It was my first real introduction to programming, and from there, my interest in software development only grew.
I don’t have one favorite part of engineering. I enjoy the combination of problem-solving, creativity, and logical thinking.
For me, understanding engineering and physics is also a way to understand the world and, to some extent, people. Technical and social systems may seem completely different, but both are made of components that interact, influence each other, and evolve over time.
This is probably why I am interested in fields that do not initially seem related, such as software development, physics, and sociology.
Over the years, I have had many hobbies and projects.
My primary tech stack includes:
I mainly work across full-stack development, AI, and automation.
